¶ 1. On May 24, 2001, a DeSoto County Circuit Court jury found Marcus Demon Rose guilty of the crime of felon in possession of a firearm. Rose was sentenced to serve two years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with credit for forty-seven days served.
