A jury convicted Everlee Nelson, Jr. of child molestation for sexually abusing the 11-year-old daughter of his girlfriend. The trial court denied his motion for new trial, and this appeal followed. Nelson contends that the trial court erred in admitting testimony under the Child Hearsay Statute, in allowing the victim's videotaped statement to be played for the jury, in admitting similar transaction evidence...
