Appellant, Clifford Simpson, appeals his conviction and sentence for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. During the state's direct examination of the deputy sheriff who discovered the concealed gun in appellant's automobile, the prosecutor asked the officer whether he received a bonus for, or if his salary depended upon, the number of guns he retrieved.
