This case arises from the auction of an island formerly owned by plaintiffs. In short, plaintiffs contend that defendants induced plaintiffs, by fraud and misrepresentation, into surrendering their contractual right to withdraw the property from the auction by offering and agreeing to use a false or "shill" bidder at the auction and, thus, plaintiffs should not have to honor their earlier negotiated contract...
