¶ 1. DYKMAN, J.

We granted Brian Burke's petition for review of the trial court's order denying his motion for a stay of criminal proceedings until fifteen days after the end of the Wisconsin Legislature's biennial session on January 6, 2003. We conclude that the trial court correctly denied this motion, and affirm.
