In the early morning hours of November 3, 1992, twenty-three year old Jesse Pinsonneault was tragically and senselessly shot and fatally wounded while attempting to deposit his employer's daily receipts into the night deposit box of Merchants & Farmers Bank & Trust Company ("Merchants Bank") in Leesville, Louisiana.
