Plaintiff, an inmate at Snake River Correctional Institution, ("SRCI") brings this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, alleging that defendants violated the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments by demonstrating deliberate indifference to plaintiffs serious medical needs, thereby causing him pain, physical injury, emotional distress, and permanent disability. (See Am. Compl. (# 7) at 2-5, 8.)...
