FEIKENS, District Judge.

Defendant Patrick Quinlan ("Quinlan") has asked the court to appoint counsel for him pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act ("CJA"), 18 U.S.C. § 3006A(b). For the reasons explained below, Quinlan's request is denied.
