In June 2001, defendant was indicted for the crimes of burglary in the second degree, arson in the third degree, assault in the second degree and criminal mischief in the second degree stemming from defendant's involvement, together with Steven Kennerknecht, in the April 2000 fire at the home of Christopher Tylutki, located in the Town of Glen, Montgomery County.
