On December 13, 2000, Carl Burnes Gordon was convicted at a jury trial in the Circuit Court of Prince William County of transporting marijuana into the Commonwealth with intent to distribute, in violation of Code § 18.2-248.01, and of possession with intent to distribute more than five pounds of marijuana, in violation of Code § 18.2-248.1(a)(3).
