After pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated assault and firing a pistol at another, Mark Quinn was sentenced under the First Offender Act, OCGA § 42-8-60. Subsequently, Quinn was convicted of the offense of possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer. Quinn's motion for new trial as amended proved unsuccessful.
