The defendant was originally charged as a principal to a second degree murder which occurred during the course of an armed robbery. Defendant was found guilty of the responsive verdict of manslaughter after a jury trial. The trial court sentenced defendant to thirty years at hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. The trial court denied defendant's motions for post-verdict judgment of acquittal and for reconsideration...
