John Ronald Brown was convicted by a jury of one count of second degree murder and one count of the unlawful practice of medicine. (Bus. & Prof.Code, § 2053.) He pleaded guilty to an additional seven counts of the unlawful practice of medicine. As to the unlawful practice of medicine count, the jury found true that appellant inflicted great bodily injury on a person 70 years of age or older...
