¶ 1. Thomas Green pled guilty to a charge of simple assault upon a law enforcement officer in the Circuit Court of Lafayette County, Mississippi. His subsequent petition for post-conviction relief was denied. Aggrieved by that denial, he has appealed and has raised the following issues:
