Mark Mares ("Mares") was convicted by a jury of sexual assault and was sentenced by the jury to ten years imprisonment. Mares raises three issues in his brief, asserting that the prosecutor engaged in deliberate misconduct by eliciting evidence of an extraneous offense during the guilt/innocence phase of the trial and that he received ineffective assistance of counsel. We overrule all of Mares's issues except his contention...
