The defendants, Fidelity & Casualty Company of New York, Commercial Insurance Company of Newark and Phoenix Assurance Company of New York, the St. Paul Insurance Company and Fidelity & Guaranty Insurance Underwriters, Inc. (now St. Paul Insurance Company), appeal a judgment awarding general damages of $1,069,000 each to the plaintiffs, Dwight Young and Gloria Young through her heirs, Charles Young and Pamela Young King.
