Appellant was convicted of murder and sentenced to sixteen years imprisonment. On appeal he claimed the trial court abused its discretion in overruling a Batson challenge. The Court of Appeals affirmed. Wamget v. State, No. 14-96-01188-CR slip op., 1999 WL 672327 (Tex. App.-Houston [14th Dist.] Aug.31, 1999)(not published).
