[¶ 1] The Estate of Jack Murphy and the guardians for Dorothy Murphy ("plaintiffs") appealed from an order vacating a $220,000 jury verdict for the plaintiffs and granting judgment as a matter of law to Michael Maus and Howe, Hardy, Galloway & Maus, P.C. ("defendants"). We conclude the trial court did not err in granting judgment as a matter of law because the defendants' conduct at a November 13, 1992, meeting did not proximately cause...
