BROWN, J.,

A burglary of the Epps Town Hall occurred on or about July 14, 1995. The cash box and two guns were taken from the city clerk's office and one gun was taken from the mayor's office. Entrance was apparently gained through the west window of the mayor's office. Fingerprints recovered from the scene matched those of defendant, James Edward Burns.1
