Defendants Amir Virani, Ignacio Santos, and three companies affiliated with them appeal the district court's entry of an $18 million judgment against them on Plaintiffs' civil RICO claim. Plaintiffs, who are Mexican citizens, allege that Defendants solicited their investment in a Georgia real estate venture, only to defraud them by taking hidden profits on land sales, claiming unauthorized expense reimbursements...
