Appellant, Ivory Johnson, pled guilty to nine counts of aggravated robbery and nine counts of theft of property. He was sentenced to a total of forty years in the Arkansas Department of Correction. Appellant subsequently filed a petition for postconviction relief pursuant to Ark. R.Crim. P. 37 alleging ineffective assistance of counsel.
