On March 8, 2000 Plaintiffs Robbin Miranda and Suzanne Wolfe, individually and on behalf of persons similarly situated, filed this class action against the State of Michigan and Defendants U.S. Sprint Communications ("Sprint"), GTE North, Inc., now known as Verizon North, Inc. ("Verizon"), and Ameritech, alleging that the State of Michigan and the various Telephone Company Defendants1
