Justice HOFFMAN delivered the opinion of the court:

The plaintiff, T.C.T. Building Partnership, appeals from a judgment entered in favor of the defendant, Tandy Corporation, in this action to enforce a lease guaranty. For the reasons which follow, we reverse the judgment of the circuit court and remand this cause for further proceedings.
