KAPLAN, J.

After jury trial in Superior Court, the defendant Riche was convicted of trafficking in cocaine in an amount of more than 28 but less than 100 grams, G. L. c. 94C, § 32E(b). He appeals, complaining that the court erred in denying his pretrial motion to exclude the cocaine from evidence.
