Rhonda K. Romine Bratton (hereinafter "the mother") appeals the trial court's decision to grant the petition to modify custody presented by Michael A. Romine (hereinafter "the father"). The mother and father divorced in January 1995. One child, who was 12 years old at the time of the custody-modification hearing, was born of the marriage.
