¶ 1 The Maricopa County Attorney's Office (the "State") charged Ravi R. Urs with one count of reckless driving, a class 2 misdemeanor, in violation of Arizona Revised Statutes ("A.R.S.") § 28-693 (Supp.2000), for driving his vehicle on a closed portion of freeway. The justice court subsequently denied Urs' request for a jury trial, and he sought special action relief from the superior court. That court granted relief...
