¶ 1. SCHUDSON, J.

Debra M. Wikel appeals from the circuit court order dismissing her petition for inverse condemnation1 against the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. She argues that the court erred in concluding that her petition failed to state a claim for inverse condemnation. Wikel is correct and, therefore, we reverse.
