MOORE, Justice:

Appellant was charged with the 1996 armed robbery and execution-style shooting of three victims at Kelly's Barbershop in Columbia. One victim survived the shooting and identified appellant as the perpetrator. The State sought the death penalty. The jury found appellant guilty of three counts of armed robbery, three counts of kidnaping, two counts of murder, and one count of assault and battery with intent to kill but did not recommend death.
