On August 5, 1997, George Porter was charged by a three count bill of information with attempted second degree murder, attempted aggravated rape, and attempted aggravated crime against nature. Porter pled not guilty at arraignment. At a hearing on February 4, 1998, the trial court denied defendant's motions to suppress the evidence, statements and identification and found no probable cause as to attempted aggravated rape.
