¶ 1 Edward Giant III (Giant) was charged by information with attempted deliberate homicide in violation of §§ 45-4-103 and 45-5-102, MCA, and aggravated assault in violation of § 45-5-202(1), MCA, in the District Court of the Thirteenth Judicial District, Yellowstone County. The attempted deliberate homicide charge was dismissed before trial. At the close of the State's evidence at trial, Giant moved for a directed verdict of acquittal...
