Defendant Gregory Tommie Jones was convicted of acts of forcible rape, sodomy, and oral copulation against a single victim, with findings, as to each offense, of kidnapping and use of a deadly weapon. It was found that he committed the offenses on more than a "single occasion" within the meaning of Penal Code section 667.61, subdivision (g), part of the so-called one strike law, which provides that a term of life imprisonment "shall be imposed on the defendant...
