Appellant Timothy J. McCabe filed suit in the District Court for Baltimore County, pursuant to the Maryland Wage Payment Collection Law, Md.Code (1999 Repl.Vol.), Lab. & Empl. (L.E.) §§ 3-501 to 3-509 (the Act), to recover unpaid commissions from his former employer, appellee Medex. Shortly thereafter, appellee requested a jury trial and the case was removed to the Circuit Court for Baltimore County...
