We granted certiorari to the Court of Appeals to consider the jury charge in this automobile negligence case. Boan v. Blackwell, Op. No. 99-UP-270 (S.C.Ct.App. filed April 29, 1999). We now hold that "loss of enjoyment of life" and "pain and suffering" are separately compensable elements of damages, and overrule Boan v. Blackwell...
