After a jury trial in Superior Court, the defendant, Thomas Morin, was found guilty of assault with intent to rape, indecent assault and battery, and assault and battery.1 The defendant was sentenced to two consecutive terms of two and one-half years in a house of correction for the assault with intent to rape and indecent assault and battery convictions.
