Steve Banks and Jamar Rolling were jointly charged on 26 June 1997, by bill of information with one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967B(4)(b), and one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, a violation of La. R.S. 40:966(A)(1). Banks and Rolling pled not guilty at their arraignments.
