When Michelle Kutina filed a petition for dissolution of marriage she served her husband at what she then understood was his address in Fort Lauderdale by giving the papers to his roommate, who also lived at that address. After he failed to respond, a default was entered. Thereafter the trial judge entered a final judgment of dissolution of marriage, ordering the husband to pay weekly rehabilitative alimony of $200 for a period of two years. The Final Judgment...
