LARSON, Justice.

The Iowa Civil Reparations Trust Fund (fund) has appealed an allocation order of the district court dividing punitive damages pursuant to Iowa Code section 668A.1(2)(b) (1993). The fund contends the court erred in allowing a fifty percent fee for one of the plaintiff's attorneys. We reverse and remand.
