Union Pacific Resources Group, Inc. ("UPRG") and its wholly owned subsidiary, Big Island Trona Co. ("Big Island"),1 brought this diversity action against Rhône-Poulenc, Inc. ("RPI"), asserting claims of conversion, securities fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and fraud.
