Defendant, Edith Sanders, pled guilty to two counts of knowingly or intentionally distributing a controlled dangerous substance, to wit: cocaine, in violation of La. R.S. 40:967, and was sentenced to five years of imprisonment at hard labor on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently. The state subsequently filed a multiple offender bill of information. The trial court found defendant to be a second felony offender, vacated the original sentences...
