INTRODUCTION

Nick Eugene Weatherby was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child under fourteen years of age and the lesser offense of indecency with a child by contact. The offenses were enhanced by a prior conviction for burglary. The jury found him guilty of aggravated sexual assault, the enhancement allegation "true," and assessed punishment at life imprisonment...
