Glen Davis challenges his conviction for narcotics trafficking. Davis contends that his Sixth Amendment right to counsel was violated because the district court did not sufficiently warn Davis of the perils of self-representation, and therefore Davis did not make a knowing and intelligent waiver of his right to counsel. For the reasons that follow, we agree that Davis did not receive adequate warnings. We therefore vacate the conviction...
