The plaintiff's decedent was 29 years old when he was diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkins lymphoma in September of 1992. In late July and early August 1992 he was admitted to the two defendant hospitals, where he was examined and tested extensively for complaints of nausea and vomiting.
