R.C. Patel, M.D., appeals the jury verdict against him in favor of Mary Barker, raising the following issues for review:

I. When in the course of a single surgical procedure, the surgeon breaches the applicable standard of care in two or more ways causing separate injuries, whether each of the breaches is a separate occurrence for purposes of the Indiana Medical Malpractice...
