This case requires us to determine the narrow issues of whether Minn. Const. art. I, § 4 guarantees appellant Judith M. Olson the right to a jury trial on her cause of action based on "promissory estoppel" and whether Minn. R. Civ. P. 38.01 entitles her to a jury trial because she sought a monetary remedy.
