Robert D. Gassler Jr. appeals the District Court's1 denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus on the ground that the petition was untimely under 28 U.S.C. § 2244(d)(1). Mr. Gassler claims that the District Court erred in refusing to apply the doctrine of equitable tolling. We disagree and affirm.
