Leigh Ann Maher was a passenger in an automobile driven by John Chase when he crashed into a tree in Massachusetts. Maher sustained serious injury and permanent disability. Chase, a resident of New Hampshire, was driving an automobile owned by his parents, also residents of New Hampshire.
