This is an appeal from the Superior Court of Putnam County's decree of adoption in which the trial court terminated the parental rights of appellant Devin Patrick Coleman to his daughter, five-year-old K.C., under the aegis of OCGA § 19-8-10(a)(1) and (b)(1) and (2) and in conjunction with permitting K.C. to be adopted by her step-father, appellee William "Tommy" Grimes, pursuant to OCGA § 19-8-6(1).
