Plaintiff initiated this action on 7 July 1998 alleging claims for breach of a lease, quantum meruit, and unfair and deceptive business practices. The matter came on for trial on 17 April 2000 and, at the close of plaintiff's evidence, defendant moved for a directed verdict.
