JOHNSON, J., delivered the opinion for a unanimous Court.

Appellant Jaime Charles Nonn was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. The court of appeals affirmed his conviction. Nonn v. State, 13 S.W.3d 434 (Tex.App.-Corpus Christi 2000). We granted appellant's petition for discretionary review to determine whether the court of appeals erred in affirming the trial court's admission...
