Dennis R. Thiel appeals the circuit court's order denying his petition for discharge pursuant to WIS. STAT. § 980.09(2) (1997-98).1 The circuit court held that insufficient facts were presented at the § 980.09(2)(a) probable cause hearing to warrant a full evidentiary hearing pursuant to § 980.09(2)(b).
